Kongskilde

Effective handling of Process waste gives you a healthier bottom line...

Clean factory environments and the efficient handling of process waste are factors of paramount importance in today's manufacturing industries. Companies invest heavily in, state of the art, processing equipment, in order to maintain a competitive edge, but often overlook the need to efficiently handle the process waste generated by such equipment.

Standard designs from Kongskilde - ready-to-use solutions

Kongskilde has unrivalled expertise in the handling of process waste produced in the plastic, packaging and printing industries. Our "modular" solutions allow for both the conveying and the homogenizing of pro-cess waste. Correctly assembled and installed, they meet the majority of requirements.

High Presurre Blowers

Kongskilde Pneumatic Systems - Excellence in Grain Handling

Important Features

  • Economical and practical modular system. Installation and expansion is an easy DIY job with Kongskildes unique OK 160 pipe system. – Only basic tools required.
  • Capacities fro m 2.5 to 53 t/h – conveying length up to 200 m.
  • Gentle conveying – grain is cushioned by a high volume of air.

Kongskilde TRL pneumatic conveying systems are suitable for wheat, barley, oats, rye, corn, rape seed, canola, peas, soya beans, sesame and many other grains and granular products. An ideal system for the farm and in agricultural processing industries.

  • The TRL high-pressure blowers and CAD feeders are available in a wide range of sizes to match almost any specific conveying needs, in- or outdoor. The use of the TRL high-pressure system is not limited by the flow arrangement or by complex layouts of outdoor silos or indoor building dimensions.

Inline Venturi System

The Kongskilde Inline Venturi system in conjunction with the Kongskilde Multiair blower unit is efficient for conveying of various materials such as continuous edge trim from paper and film manufacturing and processing industries.

Number one in process waste handling Expanded polystyrene (E.P.S.), guillotine off cuts, roll ends, finished plastic products i.e. blowmoulded bottles, injection moulded products and blow/injection mould waste (Top, tails and sprues). In addition the system can be utilised for explosive fume/vapour ventilation by removing the air return unit and replacing the air return with a large diameter duct.

Multiair2000

The Multiair 2000 series is standard mounted with:

  • Pressure gauge
  • Ammeter
  • Hour run counter
  • Motor starter (Star/Delta)

The Kongskilde range of high pressure Multiair blowers is specifically designed as an integral part of the Kongskilde pneumatic conveying range of equipment.

The Multiair is used in connection with other Kongskilde equipment in order to convey products from the plastic, packaging and printing industries.

Multicutter

The Kongskilde Multicutter has been developed for continuous cutting of waste edge trim from machines for film blowing, packaging-, paper production and slitters.

The Multicutter consists of a fixed and a rotating set of blades driven by a direct-coupled motor. The blades are made from specially hardened steel with great resistance to wear and an extended service life. Adjustment and resharpening of the blade sets is possible and is the only form of maintenance.

Application

The Multicutter is mounted in the Kongskilde OK pipe system, conveying the waste away from the production machinery.

RV/RF

Kongskilde Rotary Valves, type RV and RF, are suitable for feeding of granulates, (granules, pellets, flakes, small moulded products etc.) either into a pressurised pneumatic conveying line or as a metered feed to a subsequent process.

The valves' design ensures minimal pressure losses when introducing products into a pressurised conveying line.

Two Types

To meet the demands of industry Kongskilde has developed two versions of the Rotary valve - the RV and the RF.

The RV version is specifically designed to handle granular materials with minimum air losses through the valve.

The design of the RF version allows it to handle flake material, such as might come from grinders.

ITF Inline Venturi system

A compact trim handling system for continuous trim and trim cut

The ITF Inline Venturi utilises standard Kongskilde modular pneumatic conveying components to transfer process waste (edge trims) and light materials.

The system is characterised by its ability to convey the product through a duct without the product coming into contact with any moving parts.

The ITF Inline Venturi system is suitable for conveying continuous edge trim and paper off cuts, aluminium and plastic from production systems with low to medium production speed.

By virtue of the technique involved, wear of the product is minimised; but a cutter can be built into the system to cut the continuous trim and by that reduce the need of storage facilities.

OK Pipe System

The OK pipe system is ideal for pneumatic and mechanical conveying and for ventilating applications in both farming and industry.

The simple and flexible pipe systems may be adjusted to suit any specific purpose, resulting in shorter conveying distances and therefore the most efficient and economical solutions.

Applications range from the conveying of crops, waste paper, plastic granulates and sawdust to complete ventilation systems.

Customised systems can be supplied

  • tailored to meet any specific requirement
  • whether for conveying or for ventilating.

Blowers TRL/FRL/FEA

Kongskilde’s FRL, FEA and TRL blowers constitute a range of proven conveying blowers, which are an ideal energy source for a vast number of industrial material handling systems.

The Kongskilde blowers are very suitable for a wide variety of applications, including air supply, conveying purposes, and ventilation where high pressure are required. The blowers can be used for both suction- and blowing systems as well as suction-blowing-systems. But they are not intended for corrosive gases and the air temperature must not exceed 70°C.
