Pneuvay Engineerings Pressure Pots provide companies with a cost effective means of conveying material from storage hoppers for processing. They utilise compressed air to convey free-flowing materials at low velocities over relatively short distances.
Pneuvay Engineering have long been renowned as reliable suppliers and services of pressure pots.
Operation of Pressure Pots:
Upon receiving a remote signal, the inlet valve opens and allows product to enter the pressure vessel. A built-in timer closes the valve after a predetermined period of time has lapsed (enough time for the vessel to fill with product). Almost simultaneously, the discharge valve opens and compressed air enters the vessel, forcing the product out through the discharge bend. Another stream of compressed air enters the system at the discharge bend, forcing the product to move along the whole length of the pipe-work to its final destination. Again, a pre-set timer or low pressure sensor can be used to determine the length of time that the compressed air enters (the time required for all of the product to reach the end destination).
