Our old office in North Coburg has served us well and we created many great memories there. We are, however, very excited about this latest development in our expanding engineering operation.

Proud to announce that Pneuvay has moved to Tullamarine
With Pneuvay becoming part of the Pneu Powders Group at the start of 2018, Pneuvay has been expanding the scale of its operation. We are determined to be the market leader in designing, constructing and installing large pneumatic conveying systems for Australia and the Asia-Pacific.
Moving to this new location allows our new management team to have a fresh start and allow us to better focus on our strategic direction. Michael Choo (Operations Manager) said, “We selected a new location that provides better connection for transport and is easier for staff to get to and from. In choosing the new location, we also ensured it would allow our business to expand to a greater capacity in future”.
Our new location features very modern buildings that have a sharp, crisp look. The office, factory and warehouse space are greatly increased, and the large, clear spans of the new factory and warehouse layout will allow us handle work more efficiently. There is also onsite parking for staff available.
Pneuvay moved to North Coburg in 1990. Back then, Michael Francis (former owner) said, “We needed a location with excellent access to major roads and freeways for the easy transport of equipment and supply of technicians in and out of Melbourne. Coburg was the best choice.” Over time, however, North Coburg transitioned into more of a residential area.
The types of industries that have remained operating around North Coburg are mostly small businesses such as the car smash repairs that have been around for a long time. Many of the machining, fabricating and equipment supply companies used by engineering companies like us, have moved on. Supporting industries that align with our business and the services we provide operate within or near the Tullamarine industry parks.
Due to the proximity of the major freeways, we are more easily able to transport heavy equipment and materials to and from our new location, which has easy access to the Western Ring Road, Calder Freeway and Hume Freeway. This will be very helpful when transporting large pneumatic conveying systems and industrial vacuum systems interstate or to the Port of Melbourne.
The surrounding roads are much wider, allowing easy access to the new factory for delivery trucks and semi-trailers carrying containers. Our previous location in North Coburg was on a narrow one-way street, the restricted road space making loading and unloading of large shipments difficult.
Our new location is far easier for our staff to get to. Moving out of North Coburg means we do not have to worry about getting stuck in the congestion on Sydney Road and Bell Street. Choosing the Tullamarine location will ensure we do not lose any of our key personnel. It is a little further for some of our staff to travel, but for others the distance is a little less. Overall, the flow of traffic in and around Tullamarine is a major improvement.
The new location for Pneuvay has many benefits
For Pneuvay, it has been a great 37 years at North Coburg, however the new Tullamarine premises is the start of another important chapter in our history. We are still in the process of getting settled in, decorating our building and exploring the nearby coffee shops, but we are incredibly excited to be in our new place.
