An industrial vacuum and dust collector service technician plays a crucial role in keeping factories and workplaces safe, compliant and fully operational. They ensure these extraction systems operate at peak performance, protecting sensitive manufacturing equipment and products by maintaining high indoor air quality and keeping work areas clear of dust and debris. By preventing the buildup of hazardous dust and debris, these technicians help avoid unexpected breakdowns of these extraction systems. By keeping them operating efficiently, service technicians maximise factory and workplace productivity, minimise disruptions to production workflows and support overall operational efficiency.
To meet the growing demand for servicing extraction systems in and around Melbourne, Pneuvay has welcomed Mayson Hoverd to our service technician team. His appointment has greatly expanded our industrial vacuum and dust collector service capacity. As a young professional with excellent industrial experience, Mayson came highly recommended through our network of professionals. He was mentioned as having a strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail. We are proud to have him on board.

Meet our new service technician Mayson Hoverd
As Pneuvay continues to grow, we remain committed to enhancing our service offerings to meet the increasing demands of Australian industry. Expanding our team enables us to deliver the essential maintenance services needed to identify and address potential issues before they develop into more significant problems.
Proactive maintenance of extraction systems should never be viewed as an unnecessary cost, but rather as a strategic investment. Routine servicing significantly extends the lifespan of your industrial vacuum or dust collector systems while reducing the likelihood of costly emergency repairs. A well-maintained system also operates at peak efficiency, helping to lower long-term operating and energy costs.
Pneuvay is actively addressing the critical need for extraction system servicing by investing heavily in top-tier service talent. Mayson joined the team with a strong industrial background and a hardworking attitude. Recognising his drive and potential, Pneuvay chose to further develop his skills by investing in his professional growth through additional certifications, including:
Our investment in this training and these qualifications ensures that our newly recruited technicians have a solid foundation to build upon. This enables them to service your dust collectors and industrial vacuum systems safely and efficiently.
Mayson brings a great attitude and proactive mindset to the Pneuvay factory and workshop floor. He decided to join our team because he wanted to take on new challenges, enhance his technical skills and progress his career. He was already familiar with our high standards of work through professional connections. When he became aware of the opportunity to join us as a service technician, he expressed his interest immediately.
Now that he is part of our team, his excellent references as a hardworking individual have been proven right. He continues to impress everyone on the team with his positive energy and willingness to dive straight into the hands-on world of our dust collectors and industrial vacuum systems.'

Mayson Hoverd on facing new challenges at Pneuvay
Mayson notes that the biggest everyday headache on factory and workshop floors is operators forgetting to change their filter bags on schedule. He stresses that routine upkeep is incredibly important to prevent issues and breakdowns. When collector filters are cleaned and the system is tuned properly, the entire machine runs much more efficiently. This includes adjusting the pulsing of air into the filters or modifying the blower speed. These small adjustments can make a significant operational difference.
To help operators avoid common breakdowns, Pneuvay offers comprehensive dust collector repair and maintenance services. Mayson and the team perform important technical tasks such as:
Operators looking to further extend the life of their equipment can also review our dust collector filter maintenance best practices. Following these guidelines ensures your collector with its bags or cartridges continue to perform at their best.

Making the right fix for a dust collector or industrial vacuum system requires technical knowledge and a willingness to get hands-on. Mayson thrives on the mechanical challenges of repairing and retrofitting these extraction systems. He always looks forward to taking on the trickiest issues operators ask him to fix . Recently, this meant taking apart a diverter valve and getting the gaskets to fit perfectly. He also took on the challenge of navigating a scissor lift into a confined space. He successfully accessed the hard-to-reach machinery to get the job done.
Back at the Pneuvay factory, Mayson considers the mechanical arm to be his most handy tool. Pneuvay embraces advanced technology to maximise safety and productivity on the workshop floor. The team uses this sophisticated robotic-style arm to safely lift heavy components on dust collectors and industrial vacuum systems. This advanced equipment gives them secure access to various parts inside these extractions systems. It acts just like a mechanical extension of the technician to get complex fixes deep within the equipment done safely and quickly.
Mayson has settled into the Pneuvay team really well. He spent his first three months working closely with Mark and has now officially passed his probation. He shared how much he enjoys the events held from time to time and recently had a great time at our EOFY BBQ celebration with the team. When he is off the clock, Mayson loves to unwind at home. He spends his free time playing with his 4-year-old son and enjoys cooking dinner for his wife.
Like all our technicians, Mayson is dedicated to delivering best-practice when maintaining and servicing your extraction systems. His message to operators who rely on his support is direct, reassuring and focused on helping them achieve the best results. He simply states that he is here to help and just needs to understand what they need. He also extends a warm thank you to his colleagues at Pneuvay for their ongoing support.
